Baseball pitcher Kenny Powers had it all: a fastball which blew the opposition away, money, fame and the adoration of his fans. " Just a man with a mind to win and an arm like a fuckin' canon." Then he lost his power, and that was all she wrote. Kenny didn't have much to fall back on after his Major League career blew out: he's a premium Grade A asshole with absolutely no redeeming features. The series has diddly-squat to do with baseball - it's all about Power's life as a substitute PE teacher at Shelby County High School, and is the funniest fuckin' thing you see all year.
