As the second most popular spectator sport in the UK behind football, this summer Newbury Racecourse saw a record 30,000 crowd at their annual Ladies Day. Now Newbury Racecourse is ramping up the challenge for the winter season by embracing the men’s lifestyle market and encouraging gents to attend in their winter finest. The fabulous prize for the best dressed male in the Winter Style competition will be annual membership to Austin Reed’s newly launched Q Club.
The partnership with heavy weight style experts Austin Reed, is the racecourses first ever fashion partnership and shows Newbury Racecourse is serious in its challenge to establish Gentlemen’s Day on the circuit to counter the large number of Ladies Days dominating the summer calendar.
Approximately 30,000 racegoers are expected to descend onto the racecourse for the three-day fixture, which includes the celebrated Hennessy Gold Cup [27th November] one of the highlights of the Jump racing calendar and a huge draw for the crowds.
