WHAT'S THE STORY? Former Cardiff City shirt sponsors construct big, swirly album using every instrument under the sun. Except didgeridoos and giant gongs.
TO BE HONEST: The Super Furries have been writing tunes since the Big Bang. This, their 1,934,341th release is like a psychedelic Brian Wilson masterpiece, fraught with Byrds-y hippiness and gorgeous melodies. Sounds even better while elevated off the ground and dreaming about Care Bears.
LISTEN OUT FOR: 'Ohio Heat'. Soft acoustic strummer that takes a (literal) trip back to 1968. Also 'Lazer Beam', which interjects quick-fire choruses with cool spacey bits.
