WHAT'S THE DEAL?
The Isle of Wight weirdos' first album was laid back and shambling, like Glastonbury in CD-form, but this one's a bit sharper. It's all back to the '60s for a variety of knees-up sounds - funky R&B, Austin Powers go-go, Kinks-style rock, swirly organs and parping horns.
TO BE HONEST:
File under summery / druggy. Thought Ocean Colour Scene would have been improved by even more weed? This is for you.
LISTEN OUT FOR:
'Wash In The Rain', the best piece of advice to tramps since Petula Clark's 'Don't Sleep In The Subway'.
PLAY:
In a field with the evocative smell of burning polystyrene in the air.
