What's the deal? Originally a fan club-only release, the French disco king's masterpiece Discovery, remixed by their peers, is now available for all.

To be Honest: Unlike many remix albums, this isn't just for anorak-wearing, record store-counter geeks. Daft Punk have put a lot of time and effort into giving the right tracks to the right people to work on and it shows.

Listen out for: Basement Jaxx's eight minute version of 'Phoenix'. As sharp as a paper cut to the tongue.
