What's the deal? The third proper studio album from Parisian fops Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin, which smoothies everywhere will be hoping is a return to the dreamy shag-soundtracks of their debut, Moon Safari. Luckily it is.

To be honest: This really is excellent stuff. The fey Frenchies have ditched the uptempo electro noodling of their last album 10,000Hz Legend and gone back to what they do best - gently sophisticated melodies and Gallic sighing noises that make you nostalgic for something you can't quite put your finger on. It's all in place, from the mumbling'n'flutes on 'Cherry Blossom Girl' to the cheery whistling on 'Alpha Beta Gaga', all nudged wonky with vintage synth noises and stoned backing choirs. Standout track is 'Run' - basically 10cc's 'I'm Not In Love' mixed with 'Ghosts' by Japan - but you won't be listening to single tracks on their own.
This is made to be played on a loop in the background while you do civilised French things involving red wine, strong cheese and shrugging.

Listen out for: What sounds like Aled Jones on very strong tranquilisers - that's Jean-Benoit, who decided to save money on guest vocalists on this album by singing it all himself. Not a bad move, as it turns out.

Play: Nice and quietly, through the gigantic hidden quadrophonic speakers in the master bedroom of your floating sex castle.
