De La Soul's mentor returns in sparkling form. The subject matter isn't your classic hip-hop stuff - infidelity and materialism are both dealt with - yet it works. Musically diverse (folky one minute, clavinets the next), and featuring guests as diverse as Chuck D and Beatnuts, the result is a record that's as cool and infectious as a Sars ice cream. Tastes better, though.
