An impressive and varied debut from the Brighton quartet. The New Wavisms of the opening two tracks give way to a series of Flaming Lips-esque melodic mini-epics. Guitars chime and clang in all the right places, providing a perfect cushion for briliantly named singer Yan's fragile vocals. An intense, strange and beautiful ride.
