If you're one of those musical snobs whose obsession with 'cool' stops you enjoying certain bands then don't buy this album. If, however, you want to hear how the pioneers of Americana sound seven albums on, then RDM will blow your mind. The Jayhawks' stripped-down return to musical Utopia blows every other 'pop' record of the last five years out of the water.
