Who said electronic music had to be void of sentiment? With the release of Up in Flames by executive knob-twiddler Dan Snaith aka Manitoba it's time to feel some 'reel' emotion. Snaith has managed to make a truly beautiful record from all that wiring. It feels folky, Nick Drake with synth beats. But this is a lo-fi, beat- laden album. Souled-out dance with heart.
