From the second that the epic opener 'Turn The Page' kicks in, it is obvious that this album is special, very special. In the great tradition of bands like The Sex Pistols, The Jam and The Specials,Mike Skinner manages to sonically capture the essence of British youth culture using a mix of musical genres and his hybrid Brummie/London drawl. There's not enough space here to explain why you should own this album, so go and buy it and see how long it takes you to see the light.
