Tarnished with a 'one-to-watch' tag, here we see The Faint's previously lo-fi aesthetics ditched in favour of a polished, yet hard-edged, dancefloor sound. Crashlanding somewhere between Soft Cell and The Clash, they're much better for it, and hugely serious titles like 'Agenda Suicide' should quash any fears of a new romantic revival.
