Prince is back with 3121, which reminds us a bit of Sign O' The Times. This is a good thing

WHAT'S THE STORY? Multi-instrumenalist genius combats recent-ish turgid comeback with hark back to his '80s stuff.

TO BE HONEST: The little man funks it up like he's doing '1999' again. No longer revolutionary, but enough to get you jigging your limbs like your haemarrhoids have just popped free.

LISTEN OUT FOR: '3121' and 'Love'. Hooky melodic greatness. (We reckon they were both recorded in 1986 though, which is cheating).
