Kidz In The Hall laid down the foundation for the project with a core objective in mind...HAVE FUN! The group invited fans into their world to see first-hand how they construct an album. Over the course of a few weeks they recorded in Red Bull studios, played in an Adidas basketball tournament with Snoop Dogg, threw parties at their LA house in the hills (for creative inspiration of course), played pranks and performed with Chris Brown. The reality show 'Here Now' (Aired on MTV) documented the making of 'Occasion.' Fans will get to enjoy the 13-track album featuring David Banner, Marsha Ambrosius, Bun B, Freddie Gibbs, Esthero, Suliamn, Anton Genius, Curren$y and more.

Just before they were set to rock the stage at Brixton’s Plan B, We caught up with the lads to find out how they’re finding their trip to the UK, why they LOVE Maxim and what to expect from them in the future…

Maxim: Hey guys, how are you finding your visit to the UK?
Naledge: We LOVE it! It’s always fun over here.
Double-o: We’re really enjoying it man! We Love visiting England, and we have to say, we LOVE Maxim!

Maxim: Why thank you, we are rather great aren’t we?
Double-o: You guys are dope! The best thing about Maxim is the nipples - we LOVE nipples!

Maxim: You performed at the infamous Yoyo’s and Plan B during your visit to London. What’s the best thing about playing for a British crowd?
Naledge: The crowd reaction is always crazy man, you can always feel the appreciation in the atmosphere!
Double-O: What I always find with a British crowd, you can play a track to them that they have never heard before, and they will listen, take it in and give honest feedback. I love that realness.

Maxim: Working alongside adidas and Red Bull, you guys put together a project that enabled fans to interact with you and see firsthand what goes into making an album. How did that come about and how important was this project to you?
Naledge: I just had this idea out of nowhere and just wanted to get it going asap!
Double-O: Yeah man it happened pretty fast. Our management pitched to redbull, we rented a house a just had a really good time making it.
Naledge: Before we knew it, it was being aired on MTV as a reality show in the US. Was amazing for us, a real blessing.

Maxim: Can we expect a sequel?
Naledge: Yes! Airing on MTV in February 2012.

Maxim: Continuing your work with adidas, you were able to play in their basketball tournament with Snoop Dogg and performed with Chris Brown, how was that for you guys?
Double-o: It was fantastic, so much fun. It was a really classy affair, very select people. Miguel, Chris Brown, us and Snoop. Real good fun.

Maxim: What can we expect from the new album?
Double-o: Expect a really exciting collection of tracks. We are the ambassadors of fun! When we make music, we just try to live life like it’s the last day. We put our all into our music, and we’re really happy with the outcome.
Naledge: We want people to listen to our music and let go, we celebrate life every day like it’s a special occasion, and we try our best for that message to come across to our fans.

Maxim: Sounds fab, we can’t wait to hear it. Now let’s get to the good stuff! How has fame impacted on your ability when it comes to pulling the girls?
Naledge: Haha, this is why we love Maxim!
Double-O: We love groupies!

Maxim: What’s the most outrageous encounter of “Groupie Love” you’ve ever had?
Naledge: I have to let Double-o answer that one haha!
Double-O: We were doing this college/university tour, and we went back to a Fraternity party on the college campus after one of our shows. There were some real hot honeys in the place and one in particular was so forward with all of the men in there. It was quite embarrassing to the point where none of the lads wanted to sleep with her haha.
Naledge: She was a mess man. It was real bad.
Double-O: So anyway, she kept trying to get me drunk! Pouring brandy in my drink every 5 mins, so I took her into a bedroom and asked her to take her clothes off, I told her I was going to freshen up. I came back with a bucket of FREEZING water and threw it all over her! Hahahaha!
Maxim: NO WAY!
Double-O: Way! Girls need to be more ladylike nowadays!

Maxim: Who was your first celebrity crush? Come on…You can tell us!
Double-O: Hmm, that’s a really good question. I would have to say Kelly Lebrock. She was amazing in Weird Science. Sheer beauty.

Maxim: We agree, we all fancy her around here. If you could have any woman play your main girl in your video, who would it be and why?
Naledge: Can we choose 3?
Maxim: Go for it!
Naledge: Daisy Lowe, her beauty is awesome. Rhianna, she oozes sex appeal and a video girl has to be confident and Rhianna can definitely work the camera.
Double-o: The 3rd one would be Oprah!
Maxim: Hahaha... wait... are you serious?
Double-o: Of Course! That would be the slowest song, wwith a 17minute slow motion sexy ass video!
