When Glasvegas debuted their eponymous opus three years ago, it took a brave man to wrench it off the Maxim stereo - primarily because the two largest guys in the office were fans! The quartet's long-awaited follow-up is another romanticised tidal wave of echo-y drama, this time piled high with hug-me-quick synths. With songs like 'Pain Pain Never Again' (a French spoken word rambling) and 'Whatever Hurts You Through The Night' (pure melodic desperation), it unfolds like an expired prescription for happy pills!
