The day had arrived. The Maxim Chaps show up at The Macbeth in Hoxton, right on time, but nobody cared, because they hadn't gone to see us (shocking, we know), they'd gone in their droves to see Random Impulse rip it up on stage in the name of his E.P. launch.
With Jagermeister ensuring all our cockles were sufficently warmed, Pulse took to the stage, blasting into his opening track, On A Roll. To start with, the crowd, as Pulse always expected, were not too sure how to take this Grime MC with a guitar about his person.

'Holding Out To Thursday' changed their minds about that though, and just incase there were any doubters left in the fray, 'Still They Sing' brought them out, shunned them, and threw them away again... in the nicest way possible you understand.

Overload, being the title track of the E.P. and currently destroying the internet, sent everyone wild, making them forget they ever doubted the man in the first place. Closing the evening with a "nice slow one", and summing up how everyone was feeling about proceedings, 'Best Party Ever' blew the roof off, and kept Mr Impulse smiling all night long.

And so he should. Expect big things from this man.
