No band jingles and jangles with smilier grins than Scotland’s jolly popsters.
Their first album in four years, there’s enough breezy, cuddle-up indie pop on here to melt a zillion hearts.
Tracks like ‘Little Lou, Ugly Jack, Prophet John’ (!!!) and ‘Sunday’s Pretty Icons’ were made for pulling the sort of dopey love faces that get others reaching for the sickbucket.
Nice stuff but not recommended for public iPod listening or you’ll end up stroking a stranger’s hairy knee without even knowing it!
