Dave Grohl's 211th supergroup, this time featuring a Led Zeppelin legend. This is bound to be a bit good. 'Them Crooked Vultures' REVIEWED!

Dave Grohl loves a supergroup. He also loves Led Zeppelin, and literally DREAMS of being able to tub-thump away behind Jimmy Page's sweaty armpit. Well, he's sort of achieved 33% of his fantasy, this time by hooking up with original Zep bass (and keys) wizard John Paul Jones, and sticking regular play-pal and Queens of the Stone Age-r Josh Homme in front of them to sing away in his trademark QOTSA droniness.
The result is actually an album that sounds much like Queens of the Stone Age (funny that, eh?), but a teeny bit LOUDER, with a touch more swagger and peppered with bouts of Zep-inspired stompery. In fact, the instrumental part that opener 'No One Loves Me & Neither Do I' explodes into is VINTAGE LED ZEPPELIN and delivers a veritable face-slap of '70s aceness.
The rest of the album's not bad. Not bad at all. It's loud, proud and BESTIAL(*we're not sure if that's really a good adjective to describe an album, but screw it, we liked it, and it sorta fitted. So we went ahead. Cheers.*)
