Isn’t it ace when you get to see some shots of a great band
that you haven’t seen before? Stuff that captures the moment. Stuff with
attitude. Stuff that really helps define the attitude of the age and gives you just a slight insight into WHAT IT WAS REALLY LIKE BACK THEN. We like it.
Marking 45 years since The Who’s formation, and a decade
since their seminal “My Generation” earned a place in the Grammy Hall of Fame,
internationally renowned snapper, Colin Jones, is hosting an exhibition at the Proud Galleries in
London where you can witness all of the above.
The snaps are precise, intimate, personal, exciting, flavourful
and just fucking good. They shed an endearing and insightful light on one of the
country’s most iconic bands.
We’ve got a brilliant select here, but you should go and see them
really. Even if it means a trip to the capital to do so. They’re that good.
This unique exhibition goes from 24 Sep-15 Nov, so you’ve
plenty of time.

We test all our albums on a NaimUniti
stereo. If we were testing for sound quality, every album would get
five stars. But we're good little journalists, so we can't. Check out
more at www.naimaudio.com. They make good stuff, believe us.
