We're big, big fans of The Rifles. Ever since they burst on to the scene with their brilliant debut No Love Lost, we've been charting their progress like the excitable indie-loving whippets we are. Luckily, for us, they've sort of become our mates too. So much so, that the last time we bumped into Joel and Luke, they whipped out their guitars and treated us - that's three Maxim staff and a bemused cleaner - to an exclusive acoustic set at Proud Galleries.

And this is it. Playing three fantastic tracks - 'Out of the Past', 'Robin Hood' and the absolutely genius 'The Great Escape' - we present London's most exciting band, and all-round top lads, The Rifles. We hope you like. You should do. They're ace.
