Never read too much into a name. BAND OF SKULLS aren't an ensemble of levitating skeleton-heads. They're actually a noisy new three-piece from Southampton, (mostly) thrashing out a sort of Blighty-fied White Stripes-y/Kills-y garagey melodiousness, that spars off Russell Marsden's Bono-meets-Jack White croons with bassist Emma Richardson's sweeter yelps. And rather good they are, too!
Check out the video for their swoony latest single 'Fires' above. Then DOWNLOAD an EXCLUSIVE LIVE TRACK 'Patterns' - recorded at London's Rescue Rooms in July 2009 as support to Spiritualized. Both songs are taken from the group's debut opus 'Baby Darling Doll Face Honey', which is available now through You Are Here Music. That is all, people, that is all...

We test all our albums on a NaimUniti
stereo. If we were testing for sound quality, every album would get
five stars. But we're good little journalists, so we can't. Check out
more at www.naimaudio.com. They make good stuff, believe us.
