Album of the Week - Bat For Lashes beguiling and brilliant second album is here for your listening pleasure
Bat For Lashes, aka Natasha Khan, was raised by goats in Pakistan who taught her to read and write. Ok, they didn't really. But she did once have a pet goat, and she was forced to watch it being sacrificed as a child. Nice. Incidentally, her beguilling second album, Two Suns, is very brilliant. Extremely atmospheric, very Kate Bush-like and more hippy-fied than sitting in a West Country field smoking herbal teabags and ginseng.
