Another brutal war drama from Clint Eastwood. It's great too!

WHAT'S IT ABOUT? The second of Clint Eastwood's films about the Battle of Iwo Jima (World War 2), to go with last year's Flags Of Our Fathers, telling the story from the Japanese perspective.

ANY GOOD? It's harrowing and packed with brilliant battle scenes. It makes Bridge Over River Kwai seem like a feel-good comedy in comparison!
