WHAT'S IT ABOUT? See how Hannibal Lecter transformed into a genius mad bastard, with this telling of his younger years in East Europe and France. Begins with his family being killed in WW2, moves into him tying a bloke to the tree and eating his face off!

ANY GOOD? It's a tiny bit cliched and not as masterfully handled as Silence Of The Lambs (obviously), but it's still dark, harrowing and sadistically entertaining.
