WHAT'S IT ABOUT: Paul Kaye AKA Dennis Pennis is a powder snorting Ibiza DJ who goes deaf. And then mad.

ANY GOOD? The first 20 minutes is cliched crud, but then the tale suddenly develops into something considerably more poignant and moving.

BEST THING: That it's not a cheap attempt at (re)making This Is Spinal Tap for the dance generation.

BEST BIT: Kaye trying to cure his deafness by taping fireworks to his bonce.
