WHAT'S IT ABOUT? The second and concluding chapter of Quentin Tarrantino's samurai western in which The Bride (Uma Thurman) continues her revenge-fuelled killing spree. Marked for death this time are one-eyed assassin Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah), psychotic slob Budd (Michael Madsen) and, of course, Bill himself (David Carradine).
BEST SCENE: The no holds barred festival of arse-kicking that is the fight between The Bride and Elle Driver. It makes those Saturday night cat fights outside 'Ritzy's' in Romford look utterly tame.
TO BE HONEST: Slower and more dialogue-heavy than Vol.1, this is still a rip-roaring, blood-thirsty treat from beginning to end. Carradine steals the film as the coldly charismatic Bill, but is run close by Gordon Liu as Pai Mei, The Bride's sadistic, but hilarious, kung-fu teacher.
