This is the big one. If you thought the blood and battle in part two's Helm's Deep scrap was impressive, The Lord Of The Rings trilogy has one last knock 'em down, drag 'em out bout of mega aggro to unleash.
Part three - The Return Of The King - sees Middle Earth go to war, with Viggo Mortensen's Aragorn leading the forces of men, Elves, Dwarfs and Hobbits against the dark armies of Mordor. But the blood and sacrifice will have been in vain if big-footed, hairy-eared Frodo can't destroy the all-powerful ring in the fires of Mount Doom. And if that isn't bad enough he's also got to duke it out with a massive man-eating spider called Shelob.
Not that we'd ever condone animal violence, but there's nothing like a big ruck involving flying monsters, giant elephants and killer trolls to get you in the festive spirit. It opens on December 17. See you there.
