What's it about? Egged on by a disturbed friend, 13-year-old Tracy discovers sex, drugs and shoplifting. Her mum isn't very happy.

Best scene: Tracy and best mate Evie get high on aerosol fumes and take turns punching each other in the face. Insane.

To be honest: Thirteen is a blistering coming-of-age drama that perfectly captures the heaven and hell of adolescence.
