Intermission Rating: Starring: Colin Farrell, Colm Meaney, Kelly Macdonald UK Certificate: 18
What's it about? Life, love and misadventure on the streets of Dublin as crooks, cops and convenience store clerks get caught up in half-arsed plans for a bank robbery.
Who's in it? Colin Farrell (who seems to appear in pretty much everything these days), Colm Meaney (from The Commitments and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Kelly Macdonald (Diane in Trainspotting).
Best scene? A spectacular stunt involving a double-decker bus thumping at high velocity into a road-works, flipping over and then skidding along the tarmac. It's the best bit of unprovoked bus-bashing since Speed.
To be honest? A comedy drama that rivals Trainspotting for balls, brains and back-alley wit. You'll watch it for Farrell's subtitles-required Dublin guttersnipe on the make, but you'll walk away remembering Meaney's hard-nosed, soft-centred copper.
