Ditching virtually all the plot of the original, this is a chirpy story about LA crook Charlie Croker (Wahlberg) and his gang as they try to steal a truckload of gold from a treacherous former buddy (Norton). This Italian Job is Ocean's 11 with a dash of The Fast And The Furious thrown in, a fresh caper movie that won't blow anyone's bloody doors off, but is a chunk of summer fun nonetheless.
