Less a third film, more a remake of the second (bad new terminator tries to kill John Connor, good old terminator struggles to save him), Jonathan Mostow's film can't help seeming a little pointless. Shrug that off, though, and there's a lot of metal mayhem to enjoy here as the Arnie-bot battles sexy new lady terminator the T-X (Kristanna Loken) with the life of John Connor (now all grow'd up and played by Nick Stahl) and the future of mankind hanging in the balance.
