Duck-faced Travolta plays a clever interrogator trying to wheedle the truth about the murder of an army drill instructor (Jackson) out of some tight-lipped grunts. Jackson's in imperious form while Travolta gurns his way towards career suicide. Now such a smug actor you're surprised when the final twist doesn't see him waddling off to the nearest pond in shame.
