What would you do if you were God? That's the dilemma faced by Bruce (Carrey) when the man upstairs (Freeman) decides to give him control of the universe for a week. Dilemma? Well yes, because being God isn't just about making your girlfriend's breasts bigger. Carrey's usual rubber-faced antics and sentimentality make for a dumb comedy just devilish enough to work.
