Kieran Culkin plays Igby, a disruptive young man from a dysfunctional family in post-yuppie New York. His father is sectioned while his cold, drug addicted mother and aspirational brother enjoy the high life, which is not part of Igby's philosophy and one he rejects at every turn. Ignored and dispirited, he leaves home and tries to make sense of what's going on around him. Think Royal Tenenbaum's but darker and you're getting close.
