If you thought Being John Malkovich was out there, your brain's going to short-circuit with this one. Screenwriter Charlie Kaufman tries to follow up his first script with a straight adaptation of a book about an obsessive orchid collector, and bizarrely ends up putting himself in the screenplay. An outstanding Nic Cage, portrays the balding, sweating, neurotic, compulsive masturbator writer to a tee. All very twisted. In a good way.
