Sucker Punch

Don't let the horribly girlie posters put you off! If you're male, aged 15-29, slobber over hardbodies and video games like Devil May Cry, then you'll ogle Sucker Punch with wide-eyed joy.  A frantic, predictable action romp from the director of 300 and Watchmen, it's basically hot chicks in fishnets (Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens etc) stylishly piledriving their way through hordes of robots and dragons. There's a plot about it unfolding in the mind of one of the girls but we didn't bother with that. 'Alice in Wonderland with machine-guns' is how its director sees it and that's bang on the nail.
