Set for release in April 2011, the fourth film in the Scream franchise is going before the cameras later this year, with the director of the first three, Mr Wes Craven, back behind the camera.
He’s being joined by Courtney Cox, David Arquette and Neve Campbell from the original movies. And it’s now been confirmed at the Hollywood Reporter that Emma Roberts – fresh off Noel Clarke’s 4.3.2.1 and the horrible, horrible Valentine’s Day, has signed on the dotted line to appear. She’ll be taking a leading role in the movie.
Rumours that Jamie Kennedy was being drafted back in from the dead have proven false, meanwhile.
Scream 4 is set for release on 15 April 2011 in the US.
