Sherlock Holmes 2 confirmed for 2011

Warner Bros has formally announced that the sequel to Guy Ritchie’s take on the world of Sherlock Holmes will definitely be coming out way in December 2011.

The studio has marked Sherlock Holmes 2 down for release on 16 December 2011, and both Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law will be reprising their roles. It’s likely that Guy Ritchie will be directing again, and after all the hinting in the last movie, it’s also likely that we might actually get to see Moriarty do his stuff this time around.
