We like it when Sir Michael Caine gets involved in films about violence, torture and retribution. It reminds us of the beauty of Get Carter. Harry Brown is such a film. Caine's titular character is fed up of his old estate becoming overrun with guns and drugs. When his best and only friend Leonard (David Bradley) is brutally murdered by a gang of thugs, Harry takes it upon himself to find out what happened. An Ex-Marine, Mr Brown doesn't go armed with a reasoned tone and polite questions: he likes guns, bin lliners, gaffer tape and tough choices....
