Movie of the Week - Action-packed X-Men spin-off, starring big, bushy sideburns

Marvel's gurning, Krueger-nailed creation is easily the best X-Men character, so no suprises the studios have decided to make a film devoted to his hairy exploits. This action-heavy superhero ride focuses on Wolverine's backstory, from fighting in wars to engaging in mutant showdowns. Don't expect Shakespeare, do expect lots of slashery pugilism and ear-numbing explosions.
