Gone with the Wind

Starring: Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Leslie Howard

“Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn”

Seriously one the most recognised quotes in the world and judged by many to be one of the greatest movies of all time. This is a sweeping Civil War-era romance with some legendary characters (Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler), it has some of the most spectacular action scenes ever filmed like the escape from Atlanta when a whole city burns.

TRIVIA

•    1,400 actresses were interviewed for the part of Scarlett O'Hara. 400 were asked to do readings.

•    Vivien Leigh worked for 125 days and received about $ 25,000. Clark Gable worked for 71 days and received over $ 120,000. Hardly fair.
