WHAT'S THE STORY? It's the most immersive shooter I've played since Half-Life. I didn't jump through the same hoops as everybody else over Call Of Duty, admittedly, but the feeling of sitting down and being alternately thrilled, scared and overjoyed hasn't happened to me for a considerable time.

TECHNICALLY SPEAKING? It's set in the future that features exciting new elements and 3D worlds in both vast detailed outdoor and indoor areas. Far Cry uses the latest AI and physics technologies to recreate the most believable character movements, realtime 3D atmospheric sound rendering, weapon bullets and footsteps

PLAYS LIKE? Half Life, Call of Duty.

WORTH STAYING IN FOR? Forget outside even exists. You no longer require the real world.
