WHAT IS IT? Epic third-person, action-heavy role-playing sci fi, with lots of Star Trek-style aliens. But don't let the geekiness put you off - you still get lots of guns.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Rampaging around giving the baddie aliens a right kicking.

WHAT ELSE HAS IT GOT? Cinematic graphics and dialogue, real-time combat and more aliens than you can shake a laser gun at.

ANY GOOD? It's huge, so you can't just drop in for some casual blasting, but it's brilliant.

BEST BIT? Customising your character - ever wanted to be a woman? Erm, us neither. Honest...
