Part of the sprawling survival horror genre, the Silent Hill series has proven a viable contender to Resident Evil, and continues apace with this third instalment, created by the same team as before. With its even more twisted storyline, complex puzzles, impressive new weapons and eerie use of 3D sound, it's guaranteed to put the willies up your spine. But in a good way.
