The Mortal Kombat franchise has delivered, if nothing else, plenty of gore in its time. Now, it returns with a polished 3D fighting game that combines real-world fighting styles, unlockable extras, devilish weapons and finishing moves with more claret than your local branch of Threshers. Impressive, if a little limited in scope.
