You could be forgiven for thinking Company Of Heroes is a 'sitting in the Maxim office' work experience sim. (Not!)

WHAT'S THE STORY? Re-fight WW2 in a bloody nifty strategy game, made by the bods behind the Warhammer: Dawn Of War series. This one mixes up amazing visuals and fast gameplay, so you don't have to be a total PC spoddie to enjoy it. (But it does help).

PLAYS LIKE: Rome: Total War. Age Of Empires. Warhammer: Dawn Of War.

HAS GOT: Quick, brutal skirmishes. Finely paced campaign missions. Historical accuracy. Great multiplayer. Lots of screaming and shouting.

HASN'T GOT: Orc warlords with names like Count Nzzgorthrooghnasharishzdzior the 3rd, of Upper West Hampshire.
