'Bouncebackability'. Now there's a word we like. The legendary Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) series will be hoping for a bit of that, as its 2011 edition attempts to overtake FIFA to reclaim its place as the undisputed king of soccer sims.
PES 2011 iis overloaded with extravagant new features to complement its already crisp gameplay. Just check out this IN-DEPTH NEW VIDEO below for the twinkle-toed proof. Complete 360-degree control with the analogue sticks ensure unprecedented level of realism to player movement. There's improved dribbling, defensive hold-up play and jostling, as surprisingly perfected by Brazil's gritty new defence at the World Cup.
The new trailer also demonstrates the game's new power gauge, illustrates how feints, dummies and tricks can be mapped on the right-stick for easy, immediate in-game access.
There's also the promise of a reworked 'Become a Legend' mode, 1000 new player animations, and a Stadium Editor, so that you can recreate a dump like Selhurst Park - because, well, why not, eh?!? Football's not all about slapping in a screamer at the Bernabeu.
PES 2011 is due out across major formats in October 2010. Over to you FIFA...
