Tekken 6

Tekken has always come across as the 'big boy's' beat-'em-up to us: reasonably easy(ish) to start smacking faces if you're a button basher, but crammed with a giant pit of depth. This ensures a prime focus on tactcal counter-attacking and stringing together massive combo chains to tangle the fingers of lesser mortals.

Tekken 6 isn't massively different to play, it's just filled with more unlockables and customisable features, and carries a WHOPPING 41-FIGHTER ROSTER. This includes a bevy of new stars, most notably a chainsaw-wielding female android who uses her own head as an explosive, and another weirdy female who unleashes some kind of tarantula-style move that reminds us the spider-walk from The Exorcist.

For those two reasons alone, we had a fair bit of fun dabbling with Tekken 6. We were still utter crap at it though!
