WHAT'S THE DEAL? Four grainy discs crammed full of jazz nostalgia, celebrating the genre's luminaries. That's names like Duke Ellington rather than annoying oiks like Jamie Callum.

ANY GOOD? Plenty of trumpet parping, ivory tinkling and interviews stretched across 10 solid documentaries. Music spods with history fetishes should be stimulated.

BEST BITS: The Ray Charles and John Coltrane profiles. Swinging geniuses.

DONDE ESTE? AWARD: Lack of Miles Davis feature had us throwing popcorn at the telly.
