WHATS IT ABOUT? War! - ugh! - What is it good for? Absolutely nothing! Er...except for Epic D-Day 60th Anniversay Commemorative DVD editions. Obviously.

ANY GOOD? Yup, Right from the off, you're presented with one of THE finest action scenes ever filmed as the invasion of Omaha Beach is reconstructed in brutal detail......but peters out as the action gets slowly asphyxiated by Spielbergs sentimental grip.

TO BE HONEST: Still worth it for the rip-roarin' first half hour alone!

EXTRAS: Double disc with Spielberg and Hanks interviews and much more
